Satchmo won a 4pt major at his first weekend of shows at the Houston Specialty weekend, he went on to win his very nice 6 to 9 month puppy class at the Nationals once during sweeps and on the National day. He won Best In Sweeps at the Houston Specialty that summer. He won his fourth major at 18 months at the Cleveland Specialty weekend. The next time we showed him was the following Summer in MS. He needed one point and finished with a non-sporting Group 3rd. He was shown limited as a special in 2004, picking up a Best Of Opp, 1st Award of Merit and a Select Award at various specialties and the nationals.
