Rascal was sent to Ron and Karen Frew of Clandara Keeshond in New Zealand. He had to stay in the US until he was old enough to ship and get through customs, so we showed him while we waited. He picked up his first major the first time he was shown at at 6 months. He picked up 3 more majors by going WD at both Heart of America and Great Lakes Keeshond regionals, then another major during the Buckeye Keeshond Regional weekend. He topped it off his short career in the states by winning Best Of Breed as a move up the last day of the same Buckeye cluster of shows. Luckily, we have frozen semen stored on this precious dog and one litter out of him, since he may never get back to America. He is a Best In Show winner in New Zealand and has been very successful at producing himself in his puppies. 2007 update: Rascal is all grown up now and continues to produce wonderful puppies for Clandara Kees in New Zealand and he just won Best In Show at the New Zealand Kees National this October. 2008 update: Rascal continues to campaign well in New Zealand with a #7 Non-Sporting dog ranking.
