Cayenne came to us when she was ten weeks old. Beth put her on a plane to Seattle, and we picked her up there (we live in Portland). When we arrived at the airport, we could hear Cayenne from about two blocks away - she was throwing a tantrum. Apparently, she didn't like to fly! When we got to her, we opened her traveling crate, and she came out, tantrum over, tail wagging.
Cayenne got her name because, as a puppy, she was prone to throwing tantrums about things, and had quite a "spicy" personality! Luckily, she outgrew the tantrum phase, and now is just one of the sweetest dogs you'd ever meet. She's always up for anything we want to do, although some of her favorite activities are going to the beach, snowshoeing, hiking on our property, and playing tug of war.
Cayenne has a Keeshond "brother" and a cat "sister", and loves them both. She's a wonderful dog with a curious, sweet, easy-going personality, and we couldn't be happier that she's a part of our lives!
